Eric Olson
Vice President, Solutions Assurance

Eric Olson is Vice President at Cyveillance, Inc., a Virginia-based firm specializing in Cyber Intelligence, Internet security and online fraud and crime.  He joined the firm in 1999 and has held a variety of management roles within the company.  For the last three years, his focal areas have been Phishing, Malware, and specific online crimes including sale of tobacco and counterfeit drugs, identity theft and child exploitation. 

Prior to joining Cyveillance, Olson spent two years as a consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers (now IBM Business Consulting Services), where his responsibilities included Internet technology, financial systems, and compliance & reporting for high-tech firms and the US Courts and Treasury Department.  Before moving to PWC, he worked in central Russia as an analyst for an international venture capital fund.

Eric Olson earned a BA degree in Russian Studies from Hamilton College and an MBA from Georgetown University. He lives in Virginia with his wife.
